My Favourite Prison Island

$25.00
sold out

In 2015 I traveled to Maria Island off the coast of Tasmania to take part in the first Comic Art Workshop residency. Maria, like just about every other part of Tasmania once the colonials showed up, was once home to a penal colony. I was there voluntarily, attending the Comic Art Workshop with seventeen other artists. It was hands down the best prison experience I’ve ever had.

My Favorite Prison Island collects the prints and drawings I made and sold to raise money to attend the residency, along with the drawings and comics I made during the residency itself.

It’s a little, roughly 60 page book, printed in full colour. It’s out of print, but if you’d like to see it, email me and I can send you a digital PDF.
